This presents an excellent opportunity for you to share your invaluable insights and elevate your professional profile within the research community, and beyond.

Upon acceptance through our moderation process, your digital article will undergo thorough formatting and quality check. Once finalised, it will be published online with its own sharable URL, and made available for download and sharing on prominent platforms such as Google Scholar, Research Gate, and LinkedIn.

Early career researchers and RHD candidates as well as seasoned academics and industry experts are strongly encouraged to contribute and showcase their insights here, running in parallel with their submissions to academic journals. Author Guidelines & Writing Tips

1

Clarity and Conciseness:

    • Ensure clarity in your work. Digital articles showcased on this platform should be written in either American or British spelling (avoiding a combination of both) and crafted in a way that is accessible to all readers, including researchers, practitioners, and a broader audience. Use correct grammar and maintain an easy-to-read style.
    • Aim for a writing style that suits the nature of your digital article. While a formal scholarly tone is appropriate in certain sections, feel free to adapt your tone to the content. Consider the specific type of your article, whether it's a reflective piece or a research summary.
    • We recognise the diversity in writing styles and content types. Authors have the flexibility to use the first person (e.g. 'I') to establish a direct connection with the audience, ensuring this approach is employed thoughtfully and in moderation. For reflective articles, incorporating first-person narratives can enhance personal engagement. In contrast, for research summaries or scholarly essays, consider using third-person passive voice where appropriate for a more objective presentation. Balance is the key here.

2

Utilising Diverse Sources:

    • Balance in Evidence: Strive for a balanced use of evidence from diverse sources such as scholarly literature, magazines, industry reports, books, and other relevant publications. This ensures a comprehensive and inclusive approach to supporting your arguments.
    • Reader Accessibility: Clearly cite and reference various sources to make it easy for readers to access and verify the information. Maintain a balanced approach in incorporating references, considering the nature of your article to avoid undue emphasis on quantity.
    • Choose sources based on their utility in the given discussion. While newer information is often valuable, also consider the potential significance of earlier publications (e.g., 2020 vs. 1990) in contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the topic. we recognise the potential significance of earlier publications as well as recent insights, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

3

APA Referencing Style:

    • Ensure all in-text citations follow the latest APA referencing style (APA 7th).
    • Format the reference list according to APA 7th style. Ensure to provide DOIs or URLs as hyperlinks where available.
    • Authors are responsible for accurately citing references and obtaining necessary permissions for any third-party copyrighted images, figures, and illustrations used in their work.
  •
