Driven to Give Back and Inspire Collective Action

As a nonprofit volunteer-run researcher-practitioner ecosystem, our experts and contributors frequently share and publish insightful content, while mentors offer additional wisdom and guidance gained from their expertise and provide informal mentoring free-of-charge. These collective efforts are voluntary acts of paying it forward, ensuring support for research candidates, independent researchers, and emerging industry practitioners.

In addition, we are dedicated to supporting PhD students and early-career researchers by offering mentorship to help them navigate challenges both within and beyond academia. We assist in understanding their rights and connecting them with valuable resources outside the academic realm. Our support includes guidance on protecting intellectual property, addressing institutional mobbing, and managing unethical leadership. We also encourage mental health and well-being during the demands of research, and support them in enhancing their publishing profiles, professional networks, and career opportunities. Ultimately, our goal is to help them build credibility, and engage with industry, ensuring a balanced and successful research journey.

Farhad completed his Ph.D. in Animal Science from Konkuk University and worked as Postdoctoral Scientist at Forage and Agronomy department in Seoul National University, South Korea. He has led several R&D projects that resulted in technology development and commercialisation within the livestock industry.
