Skills Academia Research and Insights Collective for Excellence operates without external funding. The various facets of maintaining and operating this scholar-practitioner platform are sustained through the dedicated contributions of professionals who generously volunteer their time and expertise towards this initiative. As our guiding principle, we aim to cultivate an advanced online environment facilitating the effortless exchange of scholarly and industry knowledge. Beyond disseminating research findings and valuable insights, we prioritise creating opportunities for researchers, educators, graduate students, industry leaders, and subject matter experts to participate in interdisciplinary dialogue, networking, mentoring, and co-authoring thereby empowering the broader education and research community.
Our Commitment
As a nonprofit community, grounded in the belief that learning and disseminating knowledge, insights, and wisdom are intrinsic aspects of life, we believe that shared knowledge and insights from contributors and authors serve as a catalyst for excellence, guided by the principle that meaningful contribution, collaboration and knowledge-sharing should transcend financial barriers.
There are millions of insightful scholarly articles, practitioner reports, and ebooks available online. Many scholarly journals charge authors considerable publishing fees which in some cases limits the ability of early career researchers and industry practitioners to share their quality work and insights free-of-charge. We are committed to providing and maintaining a platform on which sharing knowledge and insights and collaborating with fellow members, authors and industry experts does not incur a fee.

Skills Academia applies the standards of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and aims to adhere to its guidelines and core practices.
All work published on this platform is licensed under a A Creative Commons CC-BY licence (CC-BY 4.0).
A Creative Commons CC-BY licence (CC-BY 4.0) essentially means that anyone may copy, re-publish, adapt and/or re-use content on our website,including publications, and create derivative works from it, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without charge, but they must clearly attribute the work to you and any co-authors, and cite Skills Academia Research & Insights Collective for Excellence as the original publisher of that content.
All digital articles written by authors and showcased on this platform undergo stringent moderation. Once published, they are immediately freely available for reading, downloading, and sharing. Our community supports specific areas of writing and publishing but is not a peer-reviewed journal. Additionally, through contributing and sharing your work with us, you can gain access to mentorship and guidance for publishing in peer-reviewed journals, if you aspire to do so.
